　家具工業中即使有許多的工作，並不需要由大專程度的人來做，但有 些工作還是需要有過更進一步訓練才能勝任。像其他積極追求進步的 行業，家具工業也需受過大學教育的人來從事領導性角色的職務，如 管理者、工程師、化學師、設計師、會計員以及裝璜師。
